A centrally located five star luxury hotel in London is looking for a Sous Chef Banqueting (m/f) to join the kitchen team.


The hotel features more than 300 rooms, meeting space for up to 400 guests, and 2 exclusive restaurants.


Your main duties willl include:

  • asssiting the Head Chef in a smooth running of the banquet departement
  • replacing the Head Chef during absence
  • daily supervision, preparation and service of all food for any kinds of events and private dining
  • ensuring the high quality standards and a smooth running of the banqueting kitchen
  • managing, training and supervising of staff
  • cost control
  • assistance in orderung, purchasing, inventory, duty rotas, holiday planning




  • successfully completed apprenticeship as chef
  • previous working experience in a similar environment / in large operations is a must
  • international experience is of advantage
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • teamplayer
  • able to work under pressure
  • very good command of English
