Junior Sous Chef

Fine Dining Restaurant in Hertfordshire, Nähe London

Our client is an exclusive fine dining restaurant (3AA rosettes, about 50 seats, private and business events for up to 100 guests) in Hertfordshire & is looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef (m/f) to join the team as soon as possible.


Your duties will include:

  • assisting the Sous Chef and the Head Chef in a smooth running of the kitchen
  • replacing the Sous Chef during absence
  • assistance in ordering, stock control, inventory
  • assistance in creating the menu
  • ensuring hygienic standards and cleanliness
  • ensuring the high quality standards
  • preparing and producing dishes (a la care, events)
  • supervising and training of staff

Anforderungsprofil

  • susccesfully completed apprenticeship as chef
  • working expereince in a similiar role and in a similar environment (experience in fine dining is essential)
  • good command of English
  • friendly, enthusiastic, hardworking nature
  • positive working attitude
  • able to work under pressure
