Our client, a five star hotel in New Zealand, with more than 400 rooms and suites, venues for private & business meetings for up to 1400 guests and 2 exceptional restaurants, is looking for a Sous Chef for In Room Dining (m/f)

 

Your duties include:

  • preparing, presenting and displaying all dishes
  • supervising, motivating and training of staff
  • control of hygienic standards and cleanliness
  • replacing the Head Chef during absence
  • assistance in ordering
  • inventory

Job profile

  • finished apprenticeship as chef
  • working experience within a similar operation and a similiar position is a must
  • Good management, leadership and training skills
  • able to work under pressure
  • creative
  • very good command of English
