Our client is a five star hotel in New Zealand, with more than 400 rooms and suites, venues for private & business meetings for up to 1400 guests and 2 exceptional restaurants-
We are looking for Sous Chef Pastry (m/f) to join the kitchen team.
Permanent position, starting date as soon as possible.
Your duties will include:
- assisting the Head Pasry Chef in a smooth running, replacing the Head Pastry Chef during absence
- supervising and training of staff
- quality and cost control
- ensuring hygienic standards and cleanliness
- assistance in ordering, inventory

Job profile
- finished apprenticeship as chef - confectioner
- working experience in a similar role and in a similar environment is necessary
- passion for production / banquets
- able to work under pressure
- leadership skills

- very good command of English
